Merista Quetzál

Script Supervisor

Merista Quetzál is a senior at Viewpoint who has taken on the role of script supervisor this year for Positive. Merista has participated in the arts throughout her 13 years in the Viewpoint community, including choir, theatre, photography, and film.


She has had numerous film positions over the years: writer, director, producer, editor, cinematographer, sound, lights, costume/hair/makeup design, and production design on various films, including her own.


She created a short film in her junior year about a young girl and her complex abandonment issues with her mom which was called Leave a Voicemail. That earned her two film festival nominations: Student World Impact Film Festival and Calabasas Film Festival.


She has done both narrative and documentary shorts and will continue to pursue film production in college on her way to becoming a producer.
